BidReel ("BidReel," "we," "us") is a product of AmeriSold LLC, doing business as AmeriFilms, based in Dayton, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the BidReel mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BidReel, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and the profile details you add — your studio or company name, your name, and an optional phone number.
- Content you create. To generate proposals, we store the information you enter: client names, project briefs, budgets, timelines, and the proposals BidReel produces for you.
- Usage and device data. We may collect basic technical information such as device type, app version, and interaction or crash data to keep the app working and improve it.
- Subscription information. If you subscribe, your purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see or store your full payment card details.
How we use your information
- To create your account and generate, store, and display your proposals.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app and its features.
- To manage subscriptions and enforce plan limits.
- To respond to your support requests and send you essential service messages.
AI processing of your briefs
BidReel generates proposals using a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). When you generate a proposal, the project details you enter — such as the client name, brief, and budget — are sent to that provider's API solely to produce your proposal text. This content is not used to train AI models. We send only what is needed to generate the proposal.
Service providers we rely on
We share information with trusted providers only as needed to run BidReel:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and hosting for your account and proposals.
- Anthropic — AI processing to generate proposal text, as described above.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and subscription payments.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification.
- Analytics tools — aggregated, non-identifying usage and stability data to improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your account information and proposals for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your profile and proposals in the app at any time.
- You can request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion of your account by emailing us.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Security
We protect your information using encryption in transit, row-level access controls that keep each account's data separate, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to it.
Children's privacy
BidReel is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
